Junior Driver Training Camp

JDTC-47While drivers studied and trained for the Arkansas Truck Driving Championship competition, their spouses and children enjoyed an afternoon of fun at J.B. Hunt corporate in the Junior Driver Training Camp. The camp gave families a first-hand experience of what their truck driver parents or spouses do every day.
The kids rolled inflatable tires for their pre-trip and ran through an obstacle course loaded with road directions – low clearance- crawl, find an alternative route around an unsafe driver, use mirrors to find hidden pedestrians and practice communicating with a teammate to get through a challenging route. We were pleased to entertain our driver families and watch them join the fun!
